Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your Telegram chat id, which is how the bot messages you.
• The preferences you type: job titles, locations, digest times and similar settings.
• Your first name and public @username, if you have one, as Telegram provides them. The first name is used to greet you.
• Your reactions to listings, and links or company names you paste into the bot.
• If you subscribe: the payment record Telegram sends us (amount, date, charge id). Payments run through Telegram Stars; we never see card details.
• How you found the bot (for example the link you used to start it), so we know which channels work.

We do not collect your email address, phone number or surname, and we do not ask for them. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

To match job listings to you, send your digests and alerts, process subscriptions and refunds, and keep the service working. Interpreting your typed preferences is done on our own server and is not sent to third-party AI services.

Sharing

Your data is not sold and not shared with employers or advertisers. It passes through Telegram, which delivers the messages and handles payments under its own policy. It is stored on a server hosted in the EU.

Retention and deletion

Send /stop to deactivate alerts. To have your record deleted, message the bot and ask. Reactions may be kept in anonymised aggregate. Payment records may be kept as long as needed for refunds and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Message @israeljobclub_bot.

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
